My journey into entertainment didn’t begin on a stage—it began with a middle school dance.
In 1998, a girl I liked asked me to a Sadie Hawkins dance. When we finally stepped onto the dance floor, I froze. I had no idea how to dance, and I was completely embarrassed.
Instead of letting that moment define me, I made a promise to myself: I was going to learn.
I became obsessed with dance, spending countless hours studying music videos and teaching myself choreography inspired by artists like *NSYNC, Britney Spears, and the Backstreet Boys. By high school, I was taking dance classes, practicing every chance I got, and eventually teaching at a dance studio hip-hop, popping, and breakdancing to kids and teens.
One of my biggest goals was to work with legendary choreographer Wade Robson. In 2003, I achieved that dream when I had the opportunity to work behind the scenes on MTV’s The Wade Robson Project. I later expanded into music production and composing before pursuing a business venture outside of entertainment.
Everything changed in 2017.
After closing my business, I was stopped at a red light in Burbank, California, staring at the giant 24K Magic billboard on the Atlantic Records building. In that moment, I remembered all the times strangers had mistaken me for Bruno Mars. What had always seemed like a funny coincidence suddenly felt like an opportunity.
That night, I went home, immersed myself in Bruno’s music and performances, and began building what would become my tribute career.
On October 8, 2017—coincidentally Bruno Mars’ birthday—I performed my very first event as a Bruno Mars tribute artist.
Today, I combine decades of dance, music, and performance experience to deliver an authentic, high-energy show for audiences across the country. Whether it’s a corporate event, wedding, festival, or private celebration, my goal is simple: create an unforgettable experience that leaves people smiling long after the show is over.
What started with one embarrassing moment on a middle school dance floor became a lifelong passion for entertaining others—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
